China Sports Cloud settled in Guizhou, Haiqiu Technology cooperates with Gui'an in investment project

May 24th 2019 at China International Big Data Industry Expo 2019 Guian Parallel Session Main Forum ,“China Sports Cloud” big data project is officially signed, totla investment of which is around 50 billion. “China Sports Cloud”, with 2 companies listed in Fortune Global 500 is settled in Guian. Guian, which is the youngest city of Guizhou, has demonstrated its great vigour to attract investment and intelligence.

According to the plan, “China Sports Cloud” is based on sports big data technology integrating exhibitions, innovative applications and linkage development.

“Big data technology will provide great help to ice and snow sports.” Said Gu Wei, Vice president of China District of SAP, “China Sports Cloud” will service for Beijing Winter Olympic Games preparation system, in which one of the focal project is ice and snow sports.”

SAP, the world's largest enterprise management software company, distinguished itself at the 2014 Brazil World Cup. The software jointly designed by SAP and Deutscher Fussball-Bund helped Germany win the championship, it is hence hailed as “The 12th Man” on the field.

The “secret weapon” developed by SAP could collect, integrate and analyse game-related data to help the team find the best way to win. It is soon successfully served in other fields, such as F1, American Football, NBA and so on. People may find out at 2020 Winter Olympics that the latest “secret weapon” to ice and snow sports is made in Guian, Guizhou.

Winter Sports Management Center of General Administration of Sports of China attended the Signing Ceremany on May 24th as the witness of signing the project. “It is not only good for ice and snow sports to build the China Sports Cloud, but also helpful to speed up the Informatization in all fields of China Sports.” Said Sun Jihai, chairman of Haiqiu Technology, Chinese international football player.
