Haiqiu Technology Starts to Build China Sports Clouds with Total Cost of 280 Million for Land Reserving in Gui’an District

Nov.20th, 2020, at 5:30 p.m., Mr. Sun Jihai received a good news when he was attending a training for professional coach in ShangHai that Gui’an Haiqiu Sports Cloud Real-Estate Co., Ltd of Haiqiu Technology successfully grabbed 3 pieces of land totaling 214 mu with the bidding number of GA（20）032、GA（20）033、GA（20）036, according to the announcement posted on Guiyang Public Resources Trading Center website.

It is a sign that China Sports Clouds project has landed in national new district, the “Chinese digital valley”, Gui’an District. The project aims to provide all-round big data services to China's ice and snow athletes to prepare for the Winter Olympics and to promote the popularization of ice and snow sports in Guizhou Province.

Extraordinary-Industry First

Phase I construction land for China Sports Clouds grabbed this time was listed from Oct.17th to Nov. 18th, and eventually grabbed by Haiqiu Technology with total cost of over 280 million for around 214 mu in total. It is particularly unusual that this batch of land is only for industrial use. According to the relevant person from Haiqiu Technology, the first batch of construction of the project include sports big data platform, ice and snow sports industry base, etc., which fully reflects the firm idea of industry takes the lead and Haiqiu Technology strives to be a benchmark in China's Sports Cloud project.

China Sports Cloud industry project is located in the south of University City in Gui'an New District, southwest of Huaxi District, Guiyang City, covering a total area of 2250 mu. The project originates from the high consensus reached by Gui’an New District and Winter sports management center of General Administration of Sports of China on the work of big data helping prepare for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics and promoting ice and snow sports.

The overall positioning of the project is "China Sports cloud" big data industry, planning to build "one cloud, two bases", of which "one cloud" is "China Sports cloud" sports big data platform and "two bases" are ice and snow sports industry bases and national e-sports industry bases. With the goal of serving the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games and the 2022 Guizhou Provincial Tourism Development Conference, the project will help Gui’an New District realize industrial agglomeration and urban development, and become a key image display window for regional industries.

China Sports Cloud industry project landing in Gui'an New District will also provide strong support for Guizhou Province to implement national policies like “2030 healthy China”, “Opinions on taking the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games as an opportunity to vigorously develop ice and snow sports”, etc.

One Cloud, One Base

Sports on the cloud & Ice and Snow, advancing to Guizhou

After grabbing the land, according to the overall plan of the project, Haiqiu Technology has launched the "China Sports cloud" sports big data platform and ice and snow sports industry base of "one cloud, two bases" on December 26th.

"China Sports cloud" sports big data platform will take the advantage of that Gui'an New District is the first big data Industrial Development Cluster in China to build the first national sports big data centralized processing center, and establish three platforms of ice and snow cloud, football cloud and E-sports cloud. China Sports cloud will build a whole process industrial platform from data collection and sorting to innovative application concerns different events, realize digital industrial application, provide technical support for ice and snow, football and e-sports industry, improve the current situation of Guizhou big data application based on "political use", inject intelligent operation services into the city, and help the development of various sports and industrial data exhibition

As national ice and snow sports cloud data platform, the ice and snow cloud platform will provide event monitoring, athlete analysis, function test, event analysis, training management and other services for ice and snow related sports, and promote the datalizaion of ice and snow related sports.

As the first E-sports data cloud platform in China, E-sports Cloud Platform will use big data processing center to collect and store data of E-sports events and professional players domestic and internetional, analyze and process them, provide data analysis, personalized suggestions, real-time data display and other data services for upstream and downstream enterprises of the industry, and promote the development of e-sports industry. The ice and snow sports industry base will promote the rapid popularization of ice and snow sports in Guizhou, which used to be a "wasteland" on the ice, with solid hardware investment and business innovation under the guidance of the idea of "moving from north to South" of the General Administration of Sports of China. With the development potential of 2022 Winter Olympic Games, the base will land the ice and snow industry in Gui'an, and build the first emerging industry cluster with ice and snow industry as the development engine in Guizhou Province and even southwest China. The base will build the construction of ice and snow sports venues from the professional ones to amateur ones, which is characterized by fun, experience and participation. Meanwhile, on theme based on ice and snow, it provides immersive service experience at all hours of the day such as shopping , leisure and entertainment, so as to meet the citizens' fresh, exciting, happy and comfortable ice and snow experience. It can undertake professional domestic and international competitions, as well as sports experience, ice and snow recreation, teaching and training, and so on Guizhou's first comprehensive ice and snow industry base, which integrates daily exercises and related theme experience content to promote the popularization of mass ice and snow sports in Guizhou Province and promotes the development of emerging industries.

Relocation to Gui'an

Haiqiu Technology keeps the benchmark firm

On May 24th, 2019, the "China Sports Cloud" industrial project successfully signed the framework agreement at the Big Data Expo; On March 27th, 2020, the investment agreement was formally signed in the presence of leaders from Guizhou Province and Gui'an New District, with a total investment of RMB 30 billion Yuan; On November 20th, 2020, Haiqiu Technology successfully won the first batch of 214 mu of industrial construction land. Nearly two years have passed from conception to implementation.

Since the successful bid for the 2022 Winter Olympic Games in Beijing in July 2015, President Xi Jinping has attached great importance to preparations for the Games. He has made important instructions on several occasions, emphasizing the theme of preparations for the Winter Olympic Games, the popularization of ice and snow sports, and the development of ice and snow industries. At the same time the party committees and governments at all levels are required to take it seriously on the preparations for the Winter Olympic Games and take the initiative to integrate into the preparation system so as to form a joint effort.

Gou Zhongwen, director of the General Administration of Sports of China, has repeatedly stressed the political height of preparing for the Beijing Winter Olympic Games, especially the extensive participation of winter sports, and asked the winter sports management center to use big data platform and attach great importance to scientific training.

Gui'an New District of Guizhou Province focuses on the big data industry. After learning the concept and planning of "science and technology preparation" of Winter Sports Management Center of General Administration of Sport of China, Gui'an new district takes the lead to form a joint team with many enterprises including China Telecom, SAP German and Haiqiu Technology, which actively integrates into the preparation system, and provides supports in the aspects of software and hardware development investment, platform construction, operation and maintenance to construct "China ice and snow cloud" platform. This is also the origin of China's sports cloud industry.

In more than a year from conception to landing, Haiqiu Technology has quietly completed the transformation from Tibet Haiqiu to Guizhou Haiqu. In this September, the company officially moved to Gui'an New District. Feng Yumang, CEO of Haiqiu Technology, who is from Guizhou, said: "at the beginning of its establishment, Haiqiu Technology registered its parent company in Tibet out of consideration of tax preference and future capital arrangement.
